B: Samuel Jackson the actor?

 

A: Yeah.

 

B: And Janet Jackson the singer?

 

A: Yes.

 

B: No way. For real?

 

A: Apparently, Janet Jackson said so in(during) an interview recently. So, as long as she wasn't lying about it....

I mean, why would she lie about something like that? Right?

Oh, wow! It's not just Samuel Jackson! Stevie Wonder and Tracy Chapman are her cousins too!

 

B: What? Wow, they really are a gifted bunch, aren't they?

*bunch는 사람들의 무리를 의미하는 것, 혈연이든 아니든 상관x

 

A: (They are) As gifted as they come apparently.

그들보다 재능있는 사람 찾기 어렵다. 최고의 수준이다.

 

Is there anything better than this? 

Naah, this is as good as it gets at this price range. 이것보다 더 나은 건 없다, 좋아지는데에는 그게 한계다

A: Yeah. Oh, she's very famous. Although she didn't get as much spotlight as Stevie Wonder or Janet Jackson, she's had her moments. Personally, I'm more familar with her music.

As much as I am a fan of Stevie Wonder, I just feel so much more at home with Chapman's old-school sound.

As much as I am a fan~, 앞 문장과 뒷 문장 중요도가 비슷, 동등한 정도인데 뒷 문장이 살짝 더 이런 뉘앙스

Although I am a fan of ~, 앞 문장보다 뒷 문장의 무게가 더 실림. 중요도가 다름. 

 

As much as I would like to join you guys, I really have to get up early and prep for meeting tomorrow.
